You are not supposed to use anything wet.But
well I never listen.I use a slightly damp cloth.
But it has to be almost dry.If you use a cloth that is dripping w/ water then yeah that's bad.
Always make sure to use a very soft cloth.
And dry the screen immediately.

If you don't have computer wipes turn off your monitor and clean it with a 70% Isopropyl alcohol that should get it clean do not use this on a laptop tho.

I spray Windex directly on the screen and then wipe with a clean cotton hand towel.

Windex or Compressed Air. Water and a tea towel work equally as well...Anything that won't leave lint/particles behind like paper towels do.

simple dont go with all the stupid expensive cleaners or ne thing, get a a paper towel spray some window cleaner on it and it works like a charm, just make sure you dont spray window cleaner on ur monitor then its all bad
