Hi there, thanks for the ten points the other day and for the two I'm getting for this. I don't know much about how to make nails healthier because mine are very healthy naturally and I haven't given it much thought as a result. I just stopped by to give you a thumbs up on your question *smiles* and two points while I was at it. Thanks again!
If I were to guess why your nails are weak, I'd say it has something to do with your diet. I used to have lots of white spots in my nails until I stopped eatting junk food. Now I'm all natural, veggies, fruits, a little grain, soy milk, and fish. My nails have never been healthier. Just a little note: Finger nails are like hair, they are actually protein based and not calcium. Maybe that might give you an idea. Like I said, this isn't my specialty, but I'm sure if you combine it with what others here have to say, you might get some good ideas. I wish you the best at it!

Instead of cutting them, only file them. Use Sally Hansen Hard as nails, tough maximum growth. Use a multi treatment oil,for cuticles and nails. Or just a cream multivitamin for nails. Sally Hansen has many quality products for nails. At any drugstore.

I have the same problem! Add more gelatin and protein to your diet. You can also find vitamin supplements in your local health food stores that are specialized for nails and hair. When you're not wearing nail polish, wear that Sally Hansen Hard As Nails polish.

When I was a kid, I was told that stabbing your nails on a glove of garlic will strengthen them. Up to now, I'm still wondering about that...
