this is a little brain teaser what is 7/12+11/12=? u answer see if u can most of u have 2 answers and cant decide? 18/12 is an improper fraction and most of u are getting it wrong

you are supposed to go to the same question and add some info about your question. Not repost it. Those that answered the first question might not see this one.
Improper fractions are what you get till you break it down as most people on the other page has done.
18/12 = 1.5 or as a fraction 1 1/2

(7/12) + (11/12) =
(7+11)/12 =
18/12 =
(18/12)/6 =
3/2 =
(3/2)/2 =
(1 + 1/2)/1 =
1 1/2 fractional value or 1.5 decimal value or 3/2 improper fraction

No one got it wrong (ok the butterfly guy maybe). "Improper" may mean "wrong" in etiquette, but in math it does not. And having two answers doesn't mean they can't decide; it means there are two (actually more) ways of expressing the same thing and it's not clear which you'd prefer.
