I`ve seen the most breath taking! Christmas Decor within the the last 25 years, and it`s gets even better every year, when I thought I`d seen it all, it just gets better. but the cost, and the light bill must be in the hundreds after the fact? but what a joy to see the brilliant creativity of sooo many people. Are you or someone you know , one of those people? if so WOW, More "Powerrr" to you, in every sense of the word.

yes I do I go all out the bigger the brighter,I love christmas been adding things since i got married which is 30yrs now my kids love it as does my granddaughter, my neighbours, friends and family. This old world can be pretty miserble throughout the year so a little bit of colour and cheer for a couple of weeks makes it bearable.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS

One area where I used to live, there's a local children's hospital that hosts an auction where they have a fully decorated tree (they have a certain minimum requirement of lights and decorations that have to be met) done by a local professional designer and financed by a local business, which includes various gifts and whatnot that go along with the theme of that tree that are then displayed at a local business during the holidays. This is held in a huge convention center and the room is completely full with decorated trees. It's a gorgeous display. But other than that, I've never seen anyone other than magazine photos who goes all out with the lights and decorations.

No not really the house, just the yards. There are two neighbors in the town next to me who decorate the hell out of their yards. Like with the blow up decorations, and lighted decorations. there are a few new things every year, We go on Christmas Eve to see them.

in the neighbor hood where i used to live, we would have to use heat from our fireplace and use very little electricity during the day and besides our Christmas lights at night as a favor for our neighbors across the street who literally covered the house in lights and decor. it was pretty and we didn't need the lights in the house on anyway..lol. hefty electric bill for them though
