I will someday own my own house however in southern California prices are ridiculous. I also pay my landlords note off of 950.00 a month. My wife works for countrywide home loans and she sees prices of house all over united states and she has told me that in order to buy a house in California a person or family has to make at least 100,000 a year. So when we are ready to buy I am going to have to move out of California.Hopefully this day will come soon.

I am sure I will some day. I am in the same boat as yourself and paying rent right now. But, I would like to be a home owner within the next five years or so. I guess I should decide where I would like to settle down first...lol.

Sadly I am afraid I never will.My family has very low income. We only pay 330 a month
for a rental that has rotten floors and my landlord wont fix them. But I don't mind if I never
own a house.I guess I'm crazy but my ideal home is a nice apartment complex.I would stay there forever.

Yes,, I own one free and clear. Thank goodness. A house, barn, and acreage!! I feel very fortunate, believe me!!
This day and age,, the prices of homes are mind blowing!
The typical home that was priced at $30.000,,,, now goes for
$75.000. I don't see how some will do it.
