You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late even once more, you are fired. Do you take the time to save the dogs life? Why or Why not?:

Save the dog, probably. While I don't consider an animal's life of more worth than a person's, I still think it's worth something and it would certainly bother my conscience- for a long time, I'm sure- if I just passed by and did nothing.
If the boss doesn't understand that, then I don't wanna work for him anyway.

However, like that one guy said, if there's a catch to it... if the dog has rabies or something like that... eh, I'd probably let him drown. If he has rabies he probably shouldn't be allowed to live.

I would probably do the good deed of saving the poor drowing dog of course !
But wait, does the dog have any disease or illness, such as rabies? Does this question have a catch?

Well, I would definately save the dog, and then file a lawsuit against my boss if he fired me. Or I would just go running to work like crazy :)♥

save the dog. tell your boss what happened. if your boss fires you even after hearing that story, you don't need that person as a boss. anyone who can scoff at the plight of an innocent animal will not be endearing and considerate as a long term boss.

then i'd see if that dog you saved could make a special "pile" to deposit on the boss's desk.

Save the dog. If the boss doesn't understand, I wouldn't want to work for someone like that anyway.

Save the dog! if your boss wants to fire you over a basically good explanation the go to hell with him and get a new job.

Definately would try and save the dog. If the boss fired me for that then I feel he would not be a compasionate human being, I would look for another job.

Save the dog. I wouldn't be able to sleep well at night knowing that I could have done something to help. (This coming from a girl who missed an exam in highschool cos I hit a bird with my car on the way there.)

Instead of walking to work you should save the dog and run to work.
