Isabelle Tyler on the 4400 is the daughter of a black man and a white woman. (I believe the actress who plays her is also mixed-race--she certainly looks it.) Isabelle is *not* nice, and it's a sci-fi show. I'm linking you to a background page on that character.
Richard Tyler, her father, has loved white women. The first time, he was beaten for it. The second one, the mother of Isabelle, died. There is a third one that he seemed to feel something for this season.

Mind you, Kirk could get pretty freaky with purple aliens or just about anything that came along...

New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter is of mixed race. And, of course, Tiger Woods, the golfer, is multi-racial, and I think his wife is white.
Governor Jeb Bush of Florida's wife is from Mexico.
As for differing cultures, Anne Meara and Jerry Stiller, performers and parents of Ben Stiller, are Catholic and Jewish respectively.
The late John Lennon, white, and his wife Yoko Ono, Asian. Ditto Woody Allen and his current wife, Soon-Yi Previn (the Asian-born [bio parents were Asian] adopted daughter of Andre Previn, a Jewish, German-born naturalized American citizen and Mia Farrow, a Catholic American woman -- phew!).
