Sometimes they do. If you are having a lot of post nasal that causes you to have spit a lot or if you are coughing up a lot of mucus, cough drops can help you to breathe easier if they contain menthol.

No, Cough drops, only decongest. But do not make breathing while running any easier.

NO try an asthma inhaler even if you don't have asthma, however it's cheating in a competition unless a Doctor will write you a perscription, then it's still cheating but you can SAY you are athsmatic and must use one.

Since running is so much mental---if you think it will help you then it will. But from a physiological standpoint...no.

where did u hear it from? i dun tink so...cough drops is used to cure cough...but no harm trying if u want =)
