Nowhere. Nothing can make you safe if your behavior is not safe, and messaging software is port opening sofware.
For instance, anyone you add to your "allow" list is in past your firewalls. If in addition you give them personal information, like real name, address, cell phone #. You have opened up a big door. Best to face this. It is Risky behavior.
