Lower Lid liner:
for dramatic effect draw slightly outside your lash line, then smudge.
for a more natural "polished" look, use brown.. and DOT along your lash line like an ant trail but up to only 3/4 or 1/2 the way ( depending on your eye shape try which makes you look best)... then smudge lightly the lines together, you will get the full lash bright eyed look.
for goth look, draw in strong then dust over it carefully with dark shadow.
hope the above few tips was helpful, these were tips given by a makeup artist for our cast members.

I put a thin line of liquid eyeliner above my top lashes and directly under my bottom lashes. Even though I have been doing it for years, I still can't freehand a straight enough line. To combat that problem, I wait for the eyeliner to dry (it takes a matter of seconds) and then I wet a Q-tip and then even out the line. My makeup is very subtle this way and the perks about liquid eyeliner is that it will not smudge or wear off like a pencil or crayon eyeliner. By the way, never put eyeliner inside the eyelash line, it will most likely lead to eye infections. Happy lineing!

To make your eyes look bigger define them on the outer corners with a sharp eyeliner pencil. For a more smouldering look, use kohl pencils as these are softer and blend better. Ive found using a white eyeliner above my bottom lashes (the part of your lower lid closest to your eye) makes the eyes appear bigger also. My top tip is just to experiment - theres no right or wrong with make-up most of the time. Find out what works best for you and experiment with different colours. For example use navy or deep purple instead of black to inject some colour and glamour into your eye make-up!

i used to wear black pencil eyeliner on the inner rim of my bottom lid above my eyelashes however in recent months i have started putting a line just where my bottom eyelashes start it looks much neater and more defined and tends to stay on for longer, putting it on the inner rim does not make it last very long.
I have the opposite problem to you i have no idea how to put eyeliner on my top lid without looking like a goth - not the look im after

IT depends what mood you're in and what colour you're using. Sometimes I use black all the way round, or a right colour just on the outside of my lower lashes, or dark brown just in the middle of my upper and lower lashes just gives the impression of larger eyes without looking overly made up, take some time to experiment with different liners, colours, keep remover handy, and find out what works for you. I would say to avoid liquid until you;re feeling a bit more confident as it can be difficult to apply, remove and look harsh.

The secert to it is that you use a khol pencil or an eye pencil on the edge of the eye lid just where the elower lashes start. If you have light coloured eyes you could use a grey pencil inside of the lid and a black or grey pencil out side the lid ( that is just under your lowre lashes to make your eyes look defined without the in your face look) to get the oh my god look at her eyes look. Remember however that as far as make up is concerned practice makes perfect and that less is more. The no make up look takes 2 1/2 hours to perfect. LOL. No seriously.

Personally I always put it on the inner rim of my bottom lashes, it makes for a perfect line and I've never suffered from infections.
If you can't handle putting it on the inner rim put it on the outside but use a grey or brown and straighten it by smudging it with a cotton bud (it makes a smokey look).

I say use the pencil eyeliner that twist up fairly of polishing for the interior your eyes. Liquid/gel for on incredible (your lashline) and kohl or pencil for decrease than your eyes (if u ever positioned eyeliner below your eyes,no longer purely interior the waterline)

Instead of trying eyeliner use eyeshadow. Get a thin brush and apply under the lid. Its a nicer softer finish.

You shouldn't put it on the bottom. Just on the top from about even to the middle of your pupil outward. (Or the whole top, some smear it or whatever)
