Stanfor business school has the lowest acceptance rate in the top-tier schools. it is less than 10%, versus the likes of Harvard and Wharton at 15%. IIM in India has the lowest at 1% passing rate due to the sheer number of students applying for a few slots.

The Wharton Business School at University of Pennsylvania is ranked number 1 in the nation. Read "The Running of the Bulls" if you want to learn more about how Wharton runs its business program.

Business programs are tough to get into anyway because so many want to take business courses and get this degree. I had a heck of a time getting into a business program and cannot imagine how hard it would be to get into the top five business programs. I believe the business school I attend is in the top 20. And it was very difficult.

Had to: get at least a 3.6 GPA from business classes (Economics, Accounting, Business Math and English 102) to get into the program and then pass two written essays. Then had to apply to the college itself to get in.

I am happy in the top twenty...good luck to you. It is all team work and presentations.
