In any society, there are more mean people than good one. Naturally mean people will have more friends, more respect.
Why mean, even people at lower level are more, workers are more, young people are more and so on. They remain busy in making friends. They work less, think less, and plan less. They devote more time in talking about themselves.
On the other hand nice people are very less. Intelligent people are less. Naturally they have small network. They know few people as they are busy in their good work. They hardly talk about people. They talk ideas. Hardly few understand these.
So you are correct and you ar perfectly right.

Nice people are respected..... they get more true respect than any other group.
mean people are feared.... and that doesn't equate to respect.....
fear of a mean person is caused by a lack of respect by that mean person.....
and all that is respected about a mean person is the danger they present to others.

Is it really that simple? I dont think so. People who dont take sh*t get more respect, but this doesnt necessarily make us "mean", we can be very loving people and still not take sh*t! People who are "nice" and let others walk all over them are not truly always so "nice", although of course sometimes very genuinely so! Often too nice and no ability to stand up for yourselves creates passive aggressive neurotics, who are particularly maddening because theyre never for real, always too afraid to say what they really feel or think. This isnt "nice" its pathetic

Because people dont want them using their evil against them so they are nice to them, but secretly dont like them. And they take that frustration out on the nice people that they know they can get away with it. I am kinda in between.

Get away from the mean people. If you are looking for a better life get arouund the nice people. But don't get snooty, if any are like that.
