Being thirty doesn't make your point more or less valuable than a younger person Ive seen people older than me that have no clue what there talking about. That statement you made is the reason why politics has turned into what it has. Age doesn't define a person, nor there ability to state a valid political point. I'm forty-three what if i said that people under forty shouldn't be allowed to voice there opinions imagine how you would feel, im sure you would be one of the first people to leave me a nasty answer. Besides, why not let the younger generation in, most of them are new to the world of politics they see things how they really are, i often wonder if the older generation are so set in there ways that they might be blind to whats really happening around us.

who else thinks that only people with knowledge about politics should be allowed to post on yahoo politics? That would eliminate the conservative population here.

the problem is people 18 years and older get to vote, so excluding them from YA politics is unrealistic and produces an artificial population to draw from. think how boring things would be if conservatives and liberals didn't have each other to bash all day long. holy cow, CIVILITY might break out...we can't have that.

Age doesn't always dictate intelligence nor does it dictate political party affiliation. I do think a broader understanding of the world is on the side of the 30+ folk, but education is where it's at.

So, just because I'm under 30 I can't post here, huh.

But, ironically I am able to vote. Now, should my vote for the liberals scare you or my oh so intimidating posts?

Intersetingly, I am probably more educated than you. And, obviously smarter than you. I don't attack people based on their age, race, sex, national origin, or color. Oh, so typical of you conservatives to EXLUDE people based on these things.

I think people should be asked to take an I.Q.test before they were allowed to vote. Hit an I.Q. of 100 and your in.That would eliminate pretty much anyone who voted for Bush.

Not me. I AM over 30- WAY over 30, & I think the Conservative dinosaurs that roam this land are headed for the same fate that wiped out the past few batches... -Too bad too, I kinda like the way they whine about us liberals all the time- while their own lives are going to hell. :)

I'm a Moderate and over 30. How about we just get rid of people who have no knowledge of what is going on in the world or who don't think for themselves. You may be in trouble....

So, you think it will be a fair debate if you eliminate one side? Anyone should be able to post...it's called The First Amendment...Freedom of Speech!

If you really want to stay alone with Republicans better put a limitation on intelligence.Don't allow anyone with an IO over 50 and I'm sure you and your right wing playmates will be all alone.
BTW,I'm over 30 .
