I am so tired of shaving my legs it isn't even funny, but I hate the hair, and can't afford lasor removal. What do you use? Is the price of waxing worth the lack of hassel? Are the hair removal creams any good?

I would actually recommend threading over shaving or waxing. I believe it's an ancient Asian technique where hairs are removed using a pieces of thread. It works great and is priced comparably with waxing. However, the results are fantastic! It can be used for brows too!

Veet rasera. It is the classic hair-removal cream, but it has a "razor" that removes the cream after the 5 minutes is up. The "razor" has 2 fins to act as a razorblade, but its basically just for taking off the cream. Nair works, but smells really bad, and also leaves hair spots on your legs. Epil-Stop Spray or Roll-On works good too. I also recommend getting waxing done. It hurts a little...but its totally worth it.

Hair removal creams are not that great for the legs since its a little thicker. Now, if you want a longer lasting effect, waxing is the best. You can getit done for about $60. Its a little painful but you get used to it and its sooo woth it.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

nair is great for legs, bikini area, arm pits (body) Do not use it on your face. Sally Hensen makes a facial hair remover with a bonus vitamin lotion that is really good. Just follow directions carefully. It lasts longer than shaving & is way less painful then waxing. It is also great to do before using sunless tan, its a great exfoliator your skin will be baby soft. Be careful.

waxing is PAINFUL! & it costs quite a bit..though it does last a while.

shaving is probally the best way to go. it's cheaper & less painful (unless your in a hurry!).

hair removal creams are a piece of junk. i haven't used one that worked yet. but i guess if u leave it on for the whole time then..maybe it'll work. but it stinks & is time consuming.
