I'm all for a logical debate of the issues and I'm completely open to hearing an opposing point of view. However, it seems like whenever I read an interesting political question on Yahoo Answers, there's a huge number of hate-filled, stereotyping, and very ignorant answers about liberals like "Dems are retards!" and "Liberals are worse than the terrorists!". What's up that? Come on people just argue the issues - otherwise you sound like the "retard."

I'm not forgetting that there is plently of conservative, republican, and Bush bashing on here too. Those people are "retards" too if they can't make a good argument for their cause.

Okay for a second I thought that maybe the bashing was just as prevalent against conservatives but I don't think it really is. Just as an example, I just clicked on the first question I saw which "Do you think we should make it illegal for fat people to buy junk food?" and two of the answers weres "I'm sure its on some liberal agenda" and "We should make it illegal for a liberals to smoke pot." Come on now, that's just stupid. If you do a search of questions for liberals and conservatives, there's a ton more questions with liberal (~7,000) than conservative (~4,000) in the titles - From a quick glance through some of the questions, I estimated that about 95% of both sets are negative. I really think there is more liberal bashing on here than conservative bashing.

The reason? They do not think for themselves or have facts. They cannot debate or come up with reasons for their responses. They are defeated, so they do the only thing they know how - come up with hate-filled, ignorant statements...
However, the same can be said for some of the Democrats who come in here without a clue. People need to come up with decent response period..

the same can be said for Bush bashing ,post a question about our President and watch the anti bush people go into action.both sides contain ill informed haters that won't debate like adults.I have posted some mean things after some really stupid questions but if asked in seriousness I will answer to the best of my limited ability.

OMG, have you not seem the same crap on the other side as well. It goes both ways on here. I just answered about 5 questions in a row that were slams on repubs. You cannot ask a split question on here without getting both sides slamming the other, its not going to happen.

Liberals have little in the way of facts to back up their play..... 'feel good' doesn't make what they say true.... 'feel good' is ok, as long as it is their money supporting their feel good ideas... but, liberals like spending other people's money.....

Re-examine the Board. Unfortunately, it seems relatively evenly spread across both sides. I have always found that Libs resort to name calling when they come to the gunfight with no bullets in their guns (happens all too frequently).

Those who bash conservatives are just as pointless and those who bash liberals. The latter just tend to be more enthusiastic about it.
