If being gay/lesbian/bi whatever is so morally wrong, degenerate, sick, disgusting, etc., then what the hell are you doing in this area anyway, if you find it so repulsive? Is it that you get joy out of making people feel bad? I could see MAYBE if there was something religious behind it, but someone will ask what looks like a serious question and all I see is "you people are sick" or "see a shrink" or "you're a f@g." I want to know! Thanks.

The question is for people who are presumably non-gay. Gay bashing in general does not bother me (I'm from the South, it's never personal, and I just deal with it.) But what is the POINT of posting stupid answers that do nothing but put people down? Maybe it's just for a lousy 2 points. What is the motivation? That is the question I am asking.

People who act like that, do it to cover up their own shame and insecurities. They look outward and point fingers at others cause they are too afraid to take a good hard look at themselves. I feel sorry for them mostly, even though I do get angry sometimes.

I am fairly new to this site and I am sorry if anyone is bashing you. As a Christian, it is an issue as in a sin, but I don't hate homosexuals. I don't like sin. I am not homophobic, nor have homosexual issues within myself. Maybe some people that call themselves Christians don't understand how else to approach the issue. God does tell us it is an abomination, which is why you will see Christians protest against it with passion. Me personally, the only problems I have is when it is forced upon children to accept as normal when the parents are trying to instill Christian morals into the children. I care that you sin against God, but I don't hate you for it and won't bash you or hit you. But at the same time, and this did happen not long ago, I was with my grand daughter walking ans we saw 2 homosexuals holding hands and being affectionate. She kind of looked at them and what they said to her I can't repeat here. They don't know just how close to death they came. If you want a certain life style that is your choice, but if anyone harms in any way my Grand daughter, or tries to change her morals, I would not be such a good Christian. I may be 48, but I am not needing a cane yet. I guess that is why some may seem "homophobic" at times. We don't want our children told different than what our Christian beliefs are. Does that make sense? Isn't that part of "freedom" in this country? To raise our own children with our Christian morals. I am not perfect and don't claim to be, but I do try to abide by God's will and Jesus Christ's teachings. That is all I can do. Jesus does forgive you when you ask Him into your life, but the catch is that you have to turn away from your sin. I hope this helps you understand some Christians better. The others are just mean pig headed fools.
P.S. What is LGBT?

I just stumbled into this area looking for new kinds of questions to answer and saw this one first. I bet it makes the previous answerers feel about about themselves to think people are closet homosexuals or whatever, but that is highly unlikely. A more probable answer is that they enjoy getting a rise out of people in general and this platform offers that. I am assuming, by asking this question that you are homosexual? Does it give you a better feeling to get the answers you have received thus far? Basically preaching to the choir right? The truth is that the MAJORITY of people feel homosexuals are weird, odd, wrong or at least unnatural to say the least. Putting it all on "christians" like one person did is an easy out for your group of people. They are stereotyping "haters" just as much as they are stereotyping you. My advice? Don't worry about what others think and do what you gotta do. Then you will have no need to ask questions such as these. Have a good night.

the actuality which you're feeling undesirable and you do no longer condone their behaviour is sufficient. the certainty is you won't be in a position to do plenty because of the fact they weren't precisely insulting him to his face, the have been basically gossiping (it is even worse) plus you have the earnings of the doubt because of the fact they caught you off look after. next time they point out something enable them to have a chew of your recommendations, for now in case you carry it up, you will possibly carry your co-worker in a superb extra awkward place (we don't in all probability recognize he grew to become into raped-he might have been in an twist of destiny or something). in any case don't sense undesirable for no longer responding, sense solid considering you recognize what got here approximately grew to become into incorrect and you will distinguish that, as unfavorable to your co-workers-the apes.

I took psychology last semester, and I learned that hatred and bigotry are usually a latent sign of homosexuality. Maybe they're just in the closet. Besides, let them do the talking, they're only making themselves look bad.

Yeah kinda makes your wonder about them doesn't it (or maybe makes you stop wondering about them)?...the ones that get me are the ones that set you up with the question...and then when you click on it you get the venom...what a waste of their and our time.
Actually it kinda makes you feel a little superior as gay people to the low IQ bashers that abound on here.

right-wing religious republicans. i am a democrat and have a good friend who is a republican who doesn't care. he just doesn't want to see what i do, which i respect. it is all politics. they also try to believe and make us believe it is a "mental disease" which can be cured. it is natural and not curable. just like anything else. they really need to worry about those who victimize others, pedophiles, molesters and such. there is no cure for nature. as of 1973, this was diminished as a mental illness or disease.

That's horrible that people are being nasty like that. I'm sorry. I think they are just acting like immature children who want to make other people feel bad to boost how they feel about themselves.
