My cat walked across my keyboard and now everything is extrmely magnified. The toolbar, windows, icons, text, everything!!! I don't know if I can fix it with a button or if I need to open an options window of some sort. Can anybody explain how to get away from this magnified mode I am in. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Or right click on a blank part of your desktop
find the properties (Last on XP) and click on settings
check the screen resolution some how I think your cat lowered the resolution. Just click on the "switch" under resolution and drag it higher.

Go to Accessories > Accessibility Options > Magnifiers and Exit from it.

Or Click on RUN and Type "magnify" and click on Exit.

Some monitors or screens have adjustment settings. I would try that first before changing appearance settings in the control panel. Also, you can try system restore, to set your computer to the previous configuration. The date and/or time frame just before when the cat did damage is important to find.

Click ''Start''
Click ''Control Panel''
Click ''Accessabity Option''
Click ''Configure Windows to work for your vision, hearing and mobility needs''
The wizard will pop up, click ''Next''
Click on the size FONT that is comfortable for you to see, click ''Next''

This should disable the magnifier.

Good Luck
