It would be MUCH easier to answer your question if you had specified why you were asking. If the reason for your questions is because you are a "soon-to-be" father and have a boy on the way. Or if your asking simply because you're curious.
In all honestly, men lived un-circumsised for thousands of years. Hygenically it is sort of cleaner to be circumsised but at the same time, most men claim there is no need for "special" attention if they were un-circumsised.
i have come across many women though, that feel a cut-man is more attractive. While living in Europe though, they prefer an uncut-man as the latter. It all depends on who you're talking too.
There are a crap load of rumors on both ends of the spectrum for which is better. It should all fall on which seems easier to maintain and go from there.
Just remember that if your an older man "thinking" about getting circumcised i hope you have a lot of time off, because it will be a VERY long healing-process.
Good luck

doesn't really matter, the myth that uncircumcised penis's are susceptible to more infection is incorrect.
Good hygiene is a good habit no matter what.
Some consider circumcision a barbaric procedure a remnant of Victorian sexual dogma.
It's painful and psychologically disruptive.
Many women find the uncircumcised penis more attractive.
Uncircumcised penises are much more sensitive to outside stimulus.
Studies are conflicting for each sexually transmitted disease. Sexually transmitted diseases and circumcision involve behavior, hygiene practices, culture, and religion, and it is impossible to control all the confounding variables that affect sexual behavior and circumcision status. Circumcision may increase the risk of developing gonorrhea and chlamydia. "Based on the studies published to date, recommending routine circumcision as a prophylactic measure to prevent HIV infection in Africa or elsewhere, is scientifically unfounded". In a study on transmission rates of HIV from infected males to uninfected females and from infected females to uninfected males in Uganda, the authors found that circumcision status was not a significant factor in the risk of transmission. Sexually transmitted diseases obviously cannot be transmitted until an individual engages in sexual activity. Therefore, a male may make a decision to be circumcised when he is older without losing this claimed benefit.

Curcumcision is all a personal decision. Although I myself prefer a guy to be circumcised, i just personally think that it makes them more attractive. I also think that because when you do not have the procedure the foreskin has to be kept very clean and the guy has to take very good care of it so that it does not get infected. Where as if you DO get circumcised i mean you should still clean your genitals, but you just dont have to do it so carefully. There is also less risk of infection. I have had this conversation with many of my girls and they also believe that a circumcised guy has a much better looking penis. Although, again everyone has their own personal opinions. I hope this helped you.

There is no strong medical reason for circumcision. The AAP now recommends AGAINST routine infant circumcision for this reason. It is really purely a cosmetic procedure.

Uncircumcised. I wouldn't toss a nice circumcised guy out of bed of course but all other things being equal I prefer my men without any surgical alteration to their genitals. They are fine the way they are.
Folks, uncircumcised men do not need any special care. Believe me, I'm a nurse, wife to an uncircumcised man and mom to uncircumcised boys. I've seen lots of penises of all kinds. I am so tired of hearing this. I don't pry apart my labia and scrub away when I'm in the shower, why would a man need to give that sort of attention to his penis?

If you have a rare medical condition (and they really are rare) that requires it, then you have to have it done. But it's still disgusting! A mutilated penis is far less attractive and far less sensitive that an intact one. If you are thinking of having this horrible procedure done on a baby boy, please DON'T DO IT! It won't grow back, and he may resent you for it when he is old enough to know what was done to him.
I suppose if I fell in love with a man whose parents had had part of his genitals cut off when he was a baby, I'd somehow learn not to be too grossed out. Fortunately my man's parents were more enlightened, and, believe me, I love the WHOLE man! He is the way nature intended.

it's cleaner to be circumcised but i don't think i'll circumcise when i have a kid. they don't use ANY kind of pain medication and the baby feels it: shock and all. that just seems inhumane to me.

Dressed chicken available in the market is with skin that is with feathers plucked, and fully skined chicken. Both the varieties sell and are in demand equally. Both varieties are enjoyed by all. They have to be prepared well and they turn out to be yummy delicacies.
Similarly circumcised or not is all upon your choice. It is good both ways. Stimulates, arouses, excites, explodes, satisfies.

I'm a woman and I would say it is better to be circumcised. I believe this because there is less skin and it is easier to keep yourself clean.
