well im currently a fashion student in the uk and there are some amazing colleges/unis over here. but basically its best to before you go to any fashion design college to practice drawing and sketching even if it copying clothes from magazines as it helps build up your skills. keep a mini sketchbook as well and stick anything related to fashion/art in it as its a good reference guide and could help you with future projects. maybe try making some of your own clothes? or start off by customising old t-shirts/bags/ skirts etc to get some good pratice.

Every thing about fashion design: a wee bit to lengthy, 6 months of prep, three years of stydy, 1 year in school job, 5 years of work ex...... and so lil space to write. Well thats me and there are so many othre who have toliled in alot more. but one things for sure , we love our work. So if you wnat to become one, go ahead and do that without any hitch. Welcome aboard.
