No Silent Hill, West Virginia does not exist. The movie is loosely based on a town Centralia which is a borough in Columbia County, Pennsylvania that is northeast of Harrisburg.

Lived in W Virginia my whole life. SILENT HILL is not real. Yes, the Mothman town is...based on true story. Not silent hill.
Look it up.

Yes, Silent Hill WVA does exist.
Point Pleasent exists too, where Moth Man was. Both stories are true. I live near Parkersburg WVA.
