Yes but probably you have to assign different ports to them.

It all depends on what you mean by "safe."

Configurerd properly, they can co-exist. Obviously, you must use different port numbers or have only one running at the same time.

Why would you like to have two types of web servers on one box (or in any box for that matter) anyway? It would be double effort to maintain both....

Yes it works fine. I have both of them running in my computer. However, you have to change the ports of either the IIS or Apache (generally :8080)

Check to see if each has firewalls built in, and if they conflict.

If you get green lights from your firewalls you are probably o.k. but, this having been said, you do not want to run more than one antivirus or antihack, or antispyware at a time. They can conflict and cancell each other out.

It should work fine. They have to listen on different ports, of course.
