I've heard birds chirp and sing much better than some of the crap that "artists” are coming out with today. What happened to all the great musicians like Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jimi Hendirx, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Supremes, Ike and Tina, Ray Charles, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin?? I know most of them are dead, but that doesn't mean that our ears should be cursed to hear nothing but noise!!!?? Why can’t people write better lyrics and music!? It's horrendous music and I'm sick of it. And please don't tell me not to listen to it because it's unavoidable!! Everywhere you go- you have to hear this terrible music. Nor is it my age because I'm only 24. So what's with the terrible music?

I totally agree that there is a lot of bad music today. I get physically nauseous every time I hear a Fergie song. I don't want to hear another stupid song about her lumps, bumps, or bridges. A lot of the music seems so unoriginal. In the past, most musicians would wait some years before using another artists music for a song. Today, "artists" continuously recycle beats, covering them with meaningless lyrics.

There is not a lot of good music because it's becoming so commercialized and all about whose boobs are bigger and who looks hotter in short shorts but if you wanna find good music you gotta go to a local club and you may find some acts you may actually like although I also don't think that there is anything wrong with a little bit of harmless fun with music like fergie and justin timberlake just to dance to in a club either the classic rock and music goes in spurts of really good music to really bad music there are really talented singer/songwriters out there just cuz they are not on the radio definately doesn't mean they aren't out there

Yea, I'm defienetly a classic rock fan. MOST of the music today is pretty bad. Maybe it's because most people nowadays hire song writers. In the 60's and 70's most people wrote their own songs, and the ones who did were the biggest bands, like Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I do like some music today though. I like Bon Jovi's new album, and a lot of country is still good. I also like Bo Bice (although some of "his" songs are too poppy, but he didn't write most of them.). And some others that I can't think of, but I'm still I classic rock fan.

You are looking in the wrong places. There is great new music out there, but it's not on the radio. The best way to finds good music is to have friends with good taste.

If all else fail, listen to the old stuff. There are oldies stations, and you can still buy old cds. If you carry an ipod around you don't have to listen to terrible music.

To find not so "horrible" music...ya gotta dig for it shuga. Cuz ya ain't gonna find it on the television....or on the radio.
But....you just might find it...playing in a smokey dive on the bad side of town....for 8 bucks a head at the door.
