hey!was just passing thru and decided to gv u my two cents worth...well depends on what occasion and where you are wearing the skirt to...i like the skirt...it is simple and versatile...a black and white combo never fails.....well...here are my tips:
1) Wearing it to work-
i will match it with either a short sleeved or long sleeved button down black blouse...either a plain simple one or something with feminine details like ruffles or ruching but not too over the top ruffles...just simple...you could then match with it a blazer or cinch the blouse around the waist with a black skinny belt...if choosing to wear it with a blazer..wear in a colour like light grey or soft pink...colours that are softer adds some colour to the black and white ensemble yet retains the feminity of the work outfit and then cinch it around the waist with a ribbon in either black or dark brown...finish it with black pumps..either plain ones or with details like bows etc...and some simple dainty jewellery like a simple chain or silver bracelet...simple pearl stud earrings or a simple pearl plain necklace will add some class to the outfit i feel...real or faux pearls will do and either a black ,white or dark brown structured bag
2) Dress down workdays-
just work it with a simple black stretch cotton tee like the Giordano stretch cotton tee shirts and simple black slides...tie a ribbon around the waistband of the skirt (not around your waist)... the ribbon should be in colours like dark brown, soft green, soft pink ,lilac etc. to again add some colour to the outfit...you can match it with your usual workbag....you could even match it with a simple black tank...wear with a long beaded necklace with beads in colours like burnt orange or light green etc...throw on a cardigan in soft pink, baby blue or light brown etc. and match it with low heeled or wedged peep toes and match with a white structured bag with big buckles or a plain oversized tote...a simple pair of stud earrings will complete the look
3) On a date-
there are many ways to wear it...the abovementioned look on dress down workdays about wearing it with a simple tank and long bead necklace with a cardigan will work too...or a blank tank under a three-quarter sleeved blazer with a long bead necklace will work too...shoes to go for would be peep toes and low heeled pumps...when wearing a blazer...cinch with a ribbon around the waist...or u could skip a top altogether and just button up a black cardigan and tie a ribbon around the waist or buy a belted cardigan and match with peep toes or low heeled pumps and a dainty handbag or clutch...wear with simple pearl stud earrings or simple pearl necklace for a sweet look...for pizzaz..opt for a long beaded necklace and wear a simple diamond stud earrings or do not wear earrings at all...or u could wear a black empire top with lace or a simple black lace spaghetti strap top to add colour match with coloured chandelier earrings with burnt orange or dark pink stones etc..match with a charm barcelet with stones in same or similar colour as earrings...or go for a spaghetti strap top with embellishments like sequins or beading but nothing OTT...just simple...dainty drop earrings and a dainty necklace with a white clutch will match....

I could go on forever...so just to sum it up...a few tips are:
1) This is a feminine skirt so wear it sweet.
2)Accecorise with simple dainty silver or white gold jewellery or pearl accessories for a sweet look....for pizzaz..add accessories like a long bead necklace, chandelier earrings, charm bracelets, structured bag or clutch depending on the occasion or shoes or pumps with details like a bow or ruching etc.
3)Do add some colour to your outfit...with a blazer or cardigan in a different colour or ribbon belts for work...for outings...through your accessories, ribbon belts, clutches, bags or shoes...but do make sure they match...a black and white outit with coloured shoes especially equals to an unbelievably chic you...
4)If you are pear shaped...not wise to match with a black top and white skirt...black gives the illusion of smaller bust and white accentuautes the size of the hip but you could balance out the look with a black blouse with ruffles or wear a light coloured camisole on top and wear the a short sleeved black blouse over the camisole and button up the last few buttons below....to balance out the white skirt...tie a ribbon belt over the waistband area of the skirt..the ribbon should be in either black or dark brown etc.
5)Finally for the cinched look, it does not work for people who are tall as it gives the illusion of long legs and a short torso...
6)Oh yeah, one last look...a long sleeved black off shoulder top with a white or cream coloured ribbon cinched around the waist ...complement with simple stud earrings or simple chandelier earrings..i would match mint or light green bejewelled satin peep toes with simple chandelier earrings with green stones and a white, cream or silver clutch

So there, that's all the ideas I can give you...sorry the message is so long..hope that my advice helps you...take care!!

Depends on where youre goin :o)

Somewhere casual Id say a basic sleeveless v-neck tank and team with black flats or funky wedges and if you have a black & white striped or just white headband or scarf.

If you want to dress it up Id say a fitted short sleeved shirt or halterneck. If you go the halter add a white material belt or silver chain belt. Then team with some strappy high heel black sandals, and silver jewellery.

You could wear a variety of styles with this skirt. It's very versatile. Tank top, sleeveless top (pullover or button-down), fitted t-shirt, etc. The possiblities are endless. A cute denim jacket would look great with the whole outfit if it gets a bit chilly out.

why dont you try a short sleeve v-neck tee or a long sleeve sheer top .Both are light weight and you could wear a cropped navy jacket to assent the skirt

I would pick 'asphalt' as the type of black top.
