Compromise and get a fake one to test drive. You do not sound like a good candidate for a piercing. If you want to try a body modification to see how you like it, how about an intricate henna tatoo.

a nipple ring is usually sexually thought of cause it is a sexual turn on cause it increases the stimuli of the nipple region, but if you want a peircing that is discreet this si the one for you, but it hurts to get it, they clamp the nipple down with a round clip then poke a needle through it and Then they string the ring or barbell through, then afterwards it takes a while to heal, they puss and get green if they are infected! i got both mine down and its been a year since i took them out and the holes are still there, still open and the sides of my nipples are scarred. =/ your choice, its an awsome thing though if you dont mind pain.

I am telling you... It hurts sooo bad! It hurt for like the first 3 months.... I am kinda reserved. When I put on my bra or even stretched, it hurt sooooo bad! Be ready for pain...
But when you get over that, it is sexy and something that you can hide easily (for the more reserved person)

Well, would you ever want to be pregnant and nurse. Also, how would you feel about someone being able to pull you hard by that ring and possibly rip the nipple.
Think about this carefully, it can cause a lot of damage.

i loved mine! didn't hurt me too much. i got both done, the second one hurt a little bit more than the first. get both, they're fun, sexy, and not something you need to always be showing. you get to show who you WANT to, or keep them to yourself. :) i say go for it!
