I agree, I think everyone is a star and what I really hate is when the "stars" use award shows to give their opinion! They are being given awards for entertainment and not for there views, I wish they would get it and spend there time helping others less fortunate!

People are obsessed with celebrities because they (celebrities) take people into the dream world(by the ways of their movies, styles & behaviour), and during that period people forget all their worries, hatrate, pressures etc. etc.
Everyone in today's world want to be "BIG" in life; at any cost. people do not realise the darkness behind it.Every one dreams big for him/herself.

u r correct as these so called celebrities r our creation we spend money to go and watch their films if we did not they would not get their huge price they ask for secondly we ask for their autographs we give them importance so i think people who r more interested in these celebrities r fools ..i think every person is a celebrity in their own right as each one is god:s spl creation

It is a deterrent from the day to day issues of real life. Seeing the stars who have all the $$$ make stupid decisions is humorous. I don't care about stardom, you know why, because when it's all over, we all end up in the same box.

It is an escape, like drinking alcohol, except its probably more healthy for you physically than being an alcoholic. It's not about the whole celebrity thing, it's more about escaping reality.

but see THATS THE THING!! WE HAVE SOOO MUCH dilema and DRAMA going on in OUR LIVES THAT its nice once in a while to escape and talk about some one elses life for a change!! i actually think its healthy!
