My family would rather see me in jail or the mental institution than to be successful in New York City. They tried to lie on me & get arrested one night & then, I moved to New York the next day, & they tried to pretend to be concerned about my safety in New York to start my career, telling me it's not a good idea, but they'd rather see me behind bars, so they can use it against me negatively, so they can get credit & laugh @ me. They keep trying to hold me back from my career.

I do not want to insult you, or your family, but that is ignorant,
New York, has its "armpits", and so does, LOS ANGELES, ...I WAS GOING TO NAME A LOT OF BAD PLACES,
I won't,
AS it is not fair, to insult different places,read the news, there is crime, trash, poverty, danger, sadness, despair,
and more descriptive happenings in the world, not just anywhere,
IT IS AN INSULT TO ALL THE WONDERFUL, SOULS IN NEW YORK, AND WONDERFUL LOVING NORMAL PEOPLE,,WHO ARE JUST LIKE YOU AND ME, TO INSULT THE STATE, CITY, OR AREA THEY LIVE,
THE FACT IS: GOOD GUYS, AND BAD GUYS ARE EVERYWHERE, WE ARE ALL MIXED UP, IN THAT HUMAN CONFUSION,,
you have to be cautious, nomatter where you live, you and i must take responsibility for our choices, even then then are no guarantees,
you could be hit by a car, or choke on bread, not to be negative, but it is true,,
NOMATTER WHERE YOU GO,, THERE YOU ARE,,LOL
tell your family, that you want to know where perfect is, and where safe is, and where GUARANTEE OF THESE PLACES IS, AND IT IS ONLY IN YOUR MIND,,
I HOPE YOU CAN FIND PEACE IN WHERE EVER YOU GO, YOU WILL GRAVITATE TOWARD PERSONS WHO ARE LIKE YOU.. YOU DECIDE,

Maybe your parents need to be educated more, NY isnt the NY it used to be back in the 80's the crime statistics are so high because there is such a large concentration of people. I lived in NY 25 years before moving to Maryland and Ive seen things here Ive never seen my whole life. NY is beautiful - there is crime everywhere, go on pursue your career you wont regret it...

Hey, I've been in a mental istitution, and it was a lot safer than amy shopping mall I've ever been in. Depends on your career, I guess. In any case, sounds to me like you're far better off in NYC with the muggers and beggars (which are everywhere, btw), than with that freakshow you call a family! Run away and don't look back!!!
