I've recently got the 30GB iPod with Video and I need to charge it without the use of a computer, instead of buying the USB power adaptor which Apple sells, I was thinking of buying the Airport Express Base Station, I wasnt only sure if the iPod can be charged through the USB port on the device....

you can probably charge it through any USB port. assuming the Airport will be plugged in to a power source, you should be ok.

Just a general question, what are you using the Airport for? Is it not to create wireless networks so if there are any macs on the network, just plug the iPod into one of them? I don't understand why the Airport would be on if there is no need for wireless?

I supose, i went by using airport protection final week, had to take my talk off and that i grew to become into no longer wearing socks, so i had to stroll barefoot. I couldent truly be afflicted with socks. basically after jogging in the process the gate and to the top have been i'm getting my footwear back, my feet have been lined in airborne dirt and dirt. I couldent positioned my footwear back on, so walked bare foot!

Yes it should be able to because it is a 2.0 USB port.
