I would promise to take care of our elderly citizens, to promote better health care and lower prescription costs.
I would losen the stranglehold the insurance companies have on the middle-class families by implementing "maximum fees" that they can charge for healthcare.
I would not get rid of SSI. Instead, I would devote more funding to it while decreasing surplus spending on bureaucratic jargon and red tape.
I would try to end the conflict in Iraq as soon as possible. I understand that we cannot withdraw right away, but I would do the best I could to bring the troops home safely.
I would allow more freedom to teachers and disband the FCAT tests. Teachers would be allowed to teach students at their own pace and not have to fill rushed to meet a deadline.
I would tighten our borders and let the Border Patrol do its job.
I support capital punishment, especially for child molesters. NO molester should be set free into society again. We need to keep this country safe for children!!
I would drill for oil in Alaska and Texas. We have lots of oil reserves that aren't being used because of environmentalists (I care about the environment too, but not at the expense of our overseas troops).
I would loosen gun laws and make them legal for pilots to carry in case of another terrorist attack.
I would fund the Boy Scouts and other religious or children's organizations. I understand that there is some beliefs that voters might not hold, but I think these programs over all encourage patriotism, respect, and community.
So...anyone wanna vote for me?

Gay marriage and abortion-
tough ones, huh?
Let's see...abortion I don't really approve of, but I see it's use in certain cases, so I probably wouldn't change todays' laws (but NO third trimester or partial birth abortions unless the mother's life is in danger!!)
Gay marriage is a toughie- I guess I'd let each state decide for itself at election time (like some states already have).

okay, i recognize that this does not belong the following in this section (your sexual decision is irrelevant in this section. your question is), yet i'm biting. "i'm for gay marriages ." Cool. So am I, and probably maximum of each body that visits this section. "i'm adversarial to the conflict in Iraq." i'm actual neither for or adversarial to it. I advise, we are not precisely getting stellar consequences, yet pulling out... that's (the conflict) is in simple terms one gigantic headache. notwithstanding, how quickly do you want us to pull out? "i'm adversarial to the trolls on Y!A." nicely, who's for them? even as that's not an excellent marker on your political persuasion, it provides me a more beneficial valuable theory on it. "Do you help huge-spread and publicly funded well being care?" "certain" i'm sorry, yet this one's slightly a deal-breaker for me. i'm not that socialistic. My suggestion, replica your question (such as your additions, yet more beneficial healthful them into your new question), delete this one and paste it right into a sparkling question in the Elections section in the Politics and authorities class. There, you receives more beneficial suitable solutions. also, we choose more beneficial of an theory on your political standpoints. ultimately, you ought to attend until eventually you're a minimum of 35 before you may heavily run for President.
