My father scared me so much about all the creeps and perverts out there that I never strayed further than our garage. Where did you go?

I made it about half a mile, then they chased me down and forced me into the car to take me home.

When I was mad at my dad one Thanksgiving I wanted to run away. I went down to a creek bed about a mile from my house and sat and contemplated how I was going to do this. While sitting there in the freezing cold I thought of all the options, than I realized I had a nice warm house, plenty of food, clothing ect. all provided for me, so I went back-got over it, and had a great Thanksgiving dinner. I was truley grateful that Thanksgiving day.

I tried when I was 14. I got a mile down the road before my dad picked me up.
Whats sad, is that they didn't have a chance to see me leave because they were so busy with... not watching me.. but they still found me not long after. But when I was 13, when they could have noticed me leaving.. and when I shouted " I'm going to *some place that I forgot, probably across the street to play*" they didn't notice that I was there til the next day. They just thought I was sleeping in my room....
Parents...pfff

I did and I actually packed a bag of clothes to take with me, but my mom convinced me to stay for dinner before I ran away. She made me pancakes(favorite food at the time) and I just realized I had to stay because I would miss her cooking. LOL! So I basically never really left the house that day.

Ha, this one time, I went next door a few townhouses down and asked these two kids if I could live with them. They told me to wait while they went to ask their mother. It probably didn't look too good when the mom came outside to see a little brown girl with a few toys looking for a home!

I did at 15, and came back when I was 24 with 4 kids.

I tried when I was 7 & I made it 4 blocks away.
I actually did when I was 15, spent 3 years here & there, before getting in contact again.
And I've never regretted it.

I thought about it. My dad accidentally drove off in the car without me and he thought I was in it. I thought he just left me there purposely. I was really mad at him so I started walking saying I was going to run away. I got about 10 blocks and my dad came and picked me up. So I kind of did for like 15 minutes.

I tried to, but I grew up on a farm out in the boon docks and my nearest neighbors were over 2 miles away, so I didn't get very far.

i did and i stayed out of home for two years b4 i came home for a vist but mine was a little diffrent they didnt wont me back i lived in the country so i went to the city
