I'd go back in time. I would love to live in Jerusalem during the crusades, France during the 1789 revolution, America during the Civil war, and the 1920 in Chicago. Each for only a few days or so. I wouldn't want to be killed.

Neither. Most of the past is not worth living through again, and the future- from the looks of it, is not going to be anything worth writing home about- either. SO, I think I'll just let this cup pass- onto someone else...

I would be tempted to change the past. Kill Hitler, stop the 9/11 hijackers, etc.
I often wonder how people in the past would react to modern technology. A modern speaker system playing REALLY LOUD MUSIC might be enough to scare away a Roman Legion.
