i liked it! It's one of those movies you don't have to "think" about. It's great for nights you just want to lay back and relax and watch people fight and things blow up. Not an academy award winner but definitly a good movie.

It was a movie that you watch to be entertained, not to create some cerebral stimulation. For what it was I thought it was a decent movie. I think the plot was poorly thought out and I think with the cast they had to work with a much better job should have been done.
What I guess it boils down to is sometimes I am in the mood for a burger and go to McDonalds, while at other times I want a good dining experience with steak, good servers, good company, and good drinks, on those instances I will go to a nice restaurant. The same goes with movies, sometimes I'm in the mood for a movie like Con-Air and love it while at other times I could see it on and start watching it when I think to myself . . . I have something better to do, I feel as though watching this is making me less intelligent. So my opinion varies with my mood.
As a disclaimer, I own this movie, but tend to only watch it when it is on TV. I think it really has made me less intelligent.

I think John Malkovitch makes an excellent bad guy... plus I loved it when John Cusak destroyed Colm Meany's vintage corvette....classic!
Props to Steve Buscemi for the most interesting character in the movie....
Favorite quote: "Define Irony.... A bunch of idiots on a plane dancing around and singing a song made famous by a band that died in a plane crash."

I've seen it like 10 times. the acting isn't stellar and the plots a little thin but it is PERFECT for the kick *** blow everything up movie that i love to watch. nicolas cage is awesome, and with a cast including john malkovich and john cusack the movie is a must see for any action movie fans.

Yeah, I saw that movie was just on. That had a lot of stars in it, but what a horrible movie. Nick Cage made a string of them along that time, including Capt Corelli's Mandolin, Windtalkers, and the worst of them all, Face-off. He seriously redeemed himself with Adaptation, one of the finest movies of this decade.

Its neither the worse or best movie i've ever seen, but its a good plot line. I liked the fight scenes alot, but Cage should stay away from long hair and southern accents. Yikes!

I love it and have the DVD. I love some of the one liners and situation comedy that are mixed into the movie.
