I would secure the borders right away.
I would eliminate the IRS and approve the Fair Tax, flat tax plan
I would get tougher with terrorists, a lot tougher.
I would work to privatize social security, work harder than GW did
I would push to legalize drugs and put the murderous gangs out of business.
I would do my best to bust up the teachers unions, or work to make them ineffective. Their main priority isn't teaching, its strengthening their union.
I would provide more incentives for new small businesses
I would reduce the number of legal immigrants as well, and be more selective in who we let into our country
I would actually develop alternative fuels
I would push to make animal abuse a felony
I would suggest mandatory prison sentences for people who participate in dog fighting
Of course I would push the courts for tougher child rape laws
I would give the Iranian president goof a very short deadline before we dismantle him
I am sure there is more I would like to do, this is just a start!

1. Create a self-financing federal drugs R&D program - sell the products at cost, to undercut the price gouging by the commercial drug makers.

2. Make it mandatory to vote.

3. Shoot all the lobyists.

4. (hire John McCain to ) get campaign finance reform.

5. Create a framework to encourage compromise across party lines (my senate is ALL 100 senators, not just the senators from a single party. We can only have meaningful legsitlation, reflecting the view of the majority of 300 million Americans, if a significant majority (e.g. 75-90%) vote in favour (instead of a simple majority)

6. Reintroduce an idea from early in our nations history - have the losing presidential candidate be the Vice-President to the winner - keep the Executive branch honest :-)

I would promise to take care of our elderly citizens, to promote better health care and lower prescription costs.
I would losen the stranglehold the insurance companies have on the middle-class families by implementing "maximum fees" that they can charge for healthcare.
I would not get rid of SSI. Instead, I would devote more funding to it while decreasing surplus spending on bureaucratic jargon and red tape.
I would try to end the conflict in Iraq as soon as possible. I understand that we cannot withdraw right away, but I would do the best I could to bring the troops home safely.
I would allow more freedom to teachers and disband the FCAT tests. Teachers would be allowed to teach students at their own pace and not have to fill rushed to meet a deadline.
I would tighten our borders and let the Border Patrol do its job.
I support capital punishment, especially for child molesters. NO molester should be set free into society again. We need to keep this country safe for children!!
I would drill for oil in Alaska and Texas. We have lots of oil reserves that aren't being used because of environmentalists (I care about the environment too, but not at the expense of our overseas troops).
I would loosen gun laws and make them legal for pilots to carry in case of another terrorist attack.
I would fund the Boy Scouts and other religious or children's organizations. I understand that there is some beliefs that voters might not hold, but I think these programs over all encourage patriotism, respect, and community.
So...anyone wanna vote for me?

Are you kidding? John Adams, our *2nd* President, develop into George Washington's Vice-President. Being Veep has long been seen as an illustration which you have been going to run for the suitable job, quite after Presidential term limits have been extra.

I would go big time for energy independence! We are truly a nation that is"addicted to oil"-!! I would put the country on a course to develop alternative fuel sources Pronto! And - I would put research money into the nuclear Fusion processes, not the fission ones which we used to make nuclear power plants. Fusion is the process that goes on in the Sun.

I would promise to be honest. It is a novel concept for people in politics, and probably impossible, which is why I would never run for President. Plus, you can't please everyone and then you have people hating you.
