i have always believed in GOd, and i am becoming more closer to him, although he is as close as he needs to be, but do you agree with me when i say this earht, life, and our freedom is a gift from God? and if a tyrannical leader takes away freedom like hitler, isnt that antireligious? it is like saying your god sucks and ill take away your gods gift of freedom. what do you think about that? i think that it is antireligious when bad countrys take away womans rights, and certain ethic religiouns, im glad im here, but i am seriously offended by mr bush taking away our freedom, and to all those who dont think tha we have less rights now, are you kidding me? ive been reading my U.S. history latley, and today, it seems like we are in trouble. God and understanding is the only solution.

whether anyone believes in any god or not, we are all born with the freedom to be what we want, live as we want, and believe whatever we want. and by the same token that anyone that believes in another god cannot make you believe their religion, nobody has to believe what you follow either. this is a big part of the problem many ppl have with Bush. he does a lot things base on "god told me to do it". well, thats great that you believe that, but i dont have to believe in your god, and you have no right to force it on me. but, thats exactly what he does, he bases the fate of an entire nation on his personal religious beliefs. he strips uf of our personal freedoms as he sess fit, and seems to have ignored the "thou shalt not kill" commandment. its pretty sickening. the war in afghanistan was to try to find a terrorist leader.... now we're just wasting money and not accomplishing anything while our brothers and sisters are put in harms way.

Freedom is a very abstract idea. I think you have freedom in God. If you were locked in a tiny box being tortured on a daily basis you might find freedom in an intense faith in God. Your body may be locked down, but your spirit is free. The gift isn't free speech or a right to carry firearms- it's freedom to turn to God when you need it most. That seems like a very valuable gift.

NO freedom is not a gift from a god. If it was which god?
We had wars after wars to get our freedom and I don't think a god of any kind of belief had anything to do with it.

I respect your belief that God gave us our freedom. I respectfully must disagree. God gave us free will. Our nation fought for our freedom (The Revolution) and has fought many wars since to protect our freedom. (Not all just wars) Yes, our rights are slowly being eroded. I'm not arguing with you there.

Funny you should mention Bush:
" So odds makers bet sometime before the end of his second term President Bush will order a massive air attack on a wide range of carefully selected targets in Iran, in partnership with Israel, and against the advice of many of his advisers. Mr. Bush is convinced a nuclear Iran would pose an intolerable threat to U.S. national security and, as one former intelligence topsider put it, "he is firm in his faith that God agrees with him on that point, and certain that history will eventually recognize and properly appreciate his courageous and visionary leadership." "
Soooo..Bush has the backing of god for a strike against Iran. If that's so, this proves to me that such a god cannot be trusted.

god has nothing to do with our freedom, we created that with lots of blood shed. i disagree with u saying god and understanding is the only solution, there are plenty of atheist people that dont believe that we should have no freedoms or rights. we want to have the freedom of speech and gathering as much as anyone else.

Freedom is a contemporary of God reason he has the skill to in-slave us and he's liberating us from the easily shackles that the devil located us with sin. basically God will set you loose as quickly as extra returned. in case you seek for the certainty. the certainty shall set you loose like all accuser that famous a solid criminal expert that famous the certainty to set him loose. enable your criminal expert be the ideal of all of them, that one is God. enable him loose you from the boogie guy.
