stress in & of itself over time wears down your immune system, weakens the aterial walls in your heart & makes you more prone to strokes & high blood pressure. If you are talking about dying right on the spot in a very stressful, fearful situation Ive never heard of this in humans. In rabbits (no joke) they can get so scared that their heart will just stop & they die.
