Usually it happens within two days, but every person and every pregnancy is different. You could go later or sooner. Get ready cuz either way- Here he/she comes!

I was due December fifth, Doctor stripped membranes that day and by the time I got to the hospital the next morning, I was at 7 cm and had baby soon thereafter. (Of course I had had bouts of contractions prior to this time as well as slight dilation), Not too much longer for you, just make sure you are ready and get there in time & try to get some rest while you are waiting if you can (I know, that part is hard) Congratulations to you and best of luck!

My midwife stripped my membranes twice and nothing ever came of it. I ended up having a c-section.

My sister-in-law's were stripped the day before her due date, and she went into labor about 3 days later.

It's different for everyone, so just be aware of those braxton-hicks and any sudden leaky fluids!

Good luck, congratulations, and here's hoping you have a quick and complication-free delivery!

Mine stipped my membranes on a Friday and said he would see me that weekend....HAA!! I went in a week later for an induction! I had already lost my plug prior too the scraping. The baby will come when he/she wants too, unless in distress. Congrats!! and Good Luck!!

I asked my mom and she says that you should ask the doctors. You should not take any over the internet advice from anybody. They can give their own storys and you can be different. One person can say that you should go in labor in hours while it can take couple days. You and your doctor are the only one who should decide on when you are ready to deliver, besides the baby.

You'll probably be going in about a week at the latest.

Good luck girl! You can do it! :)

Good bless and congrats on baby!
