I wanted to be a professional musician in a symphony. I work in a doctor's office now and am finishing nursing school. I love what I do, but it sure isn't what I thought I'd be doing as an adult. Although it does pay a lot more than being a musician!!

I've wanted to be a Deputy Coroner since I was 10. An unexpected pregnancy got me booted from the sheriffs academy. Now I sell networking equipment.

Unfortunately no,(don't laugh) but eventually I want to own my own Ice cream truck, But for now I work in a day care center, though I love my job I don't plan to be there forever. If everything goes as planned I will be able to purchase my truck in February !! I cant wait !!

Yes, when I was a little girl, I wanted to be a "secretary" like my aunt.
I have always had a desk job and wouldn't trade it for any other profession.

Doing what you wanted to be while growing up is COMPLETELY different from doing what you'd like to be doing now.
If I had stuck to my childhood guns, I'd be one of these things:
-Batman
-Snake Eyes
-Leonardo
-Optimus Prime
Last time I looked, these positions were still vacant.

No, No, No.
I did not become a world renowned artist...
I did not become an entrepreneur with several night clubs...
I did not become a famous singer....
And yes, it is quite a let down!
