Watch out for the smart and INSECURE ones.

My husbands previous girlfriend (smart, but insecure) would constantly try to "best him" at everything to satisfy her feelings of insecurity. It tore them apart.

I'm smart, but my field of expertise is on the other end of the spectrum from my husband - he's a computer tech and I'm a psychologist and artist.

We get along very well because we both are intelligent and respect each others opinions.

That ex-girlfriend, however - just wanted an ego boost by dominating him in every subject imaginable.
