I found out this information by going to the Tax listing office and they have most of that information at their fingertips - computers!@

Thoroughly inspect the home! Go under the house and identify the plumbing drain and waste pipes for the materials used when the home was built. Cast iron was widly used in residential structures through the 1960's then plastic was introduced. If the plumbing fixtures are original, then lift the toilet tank and check for dates of manufacture.

The local building department, and talking to the neighbors is usually a good place to search also.

Just take a look at the deed that you got, when you purchased the home, the year the house was built, should be on there..

well u could talk to some of the neighbor that have been living there longer than u that might help or ask the real estate company u got the house from

try checking your towns old records. They should have records of when your house was built etc.
