Ok well i have no warranty for it so sending it to sony is a NO.
Ok well the button is acting as if im pressing it but im not and the actual L button is not stuck in its as if its not being pressed but its acting as if it is can any one help me?

Mine was doing this too when I first bought my PSP. The sholder buttons on them are VERY touchy. That is why they came out with the update to be able to turn them off for movies. I found out that it is best to just stay off those buttons and rest your fingers behind them so you are not putting any pressure on them. A few of my friends had this problem too and this seemed to solve it. Most of us are use to resting our fingers there like on the PS2 but the PSP is way more sensitive. Hope this works for ya.

this befell to my ps2 controller it generally occurs because of the fact the sensor under the button slips off it jus open it up place the sensor under the L button and it will artwork back have faith it hassle-free yet once you're no longer stable with electronics then do no longer do it haha
