Starting age 10 my pants were usually a bigger size than my tops. At that age I wore girls size 7 in tops and size 8 pants. As a young adult now I am often size 0 in tops and size 4 in pants.
My brother's pants size was also bigger than top size since he was a kid.
I wonder if the majority of people wear bigger size pants?

Well, since I hit my mid 20s - my tops are always 1 or 2 sizes bigger than my pants. I'm bigger through the chest than the hips.

i wear the same size shirt and pants. but that's just my body, every one is different! maybe it's a hereditary thing.
