psp cuz it has better games and graphics, if you like nintendo games I would go for the ds lite

I have only owned a DS Lite, but from what I've heard from people who have both, most say the DS is better. They say that the DS's games are more fun even though the PSP has much better graphics. I would say the graphics on a DS are somewhere between a PS1 and a Gamecube. The PSP graphics are closer to a PS2. I've also heard that the PSP games have really long load times.

DS is by far better. While the psp claims better graphics and the ability to play movies, the battery life is actually so short you cant watch a movie before the machine dies. As far as games go the DS has psp beat hands down. With titles like mariokart, metroid, and zelda among other things the psp has no chance. Also many of the PSP games are simply addapted from PS1 and usually have ill adapted controlls.

I own both and the PSP was just a waste... Dont get me wrong It's relaly good, but I can't get into all the features that would end up costing me more money in the long wrong. Why should I rebuy movies to watch on the PSP? Also, how about spending money to get a battery attachment and memory cards. I just feel ripped off. I already spent the money on a PSP and I still have to buy more stuff before I can enjoy it.
It's like buying a car and finding out that now you have to buy the doors, windows and engeen. All this before you purchace your first gallon to run it.
Granted it does movies, music and net. But do you really want to spend money on mem cards to fill it with music (when you can get a n iPod for chaper). OR: rebuy all your movies on a format that can only be watched with the PSP, not to mension that it drains out your battery really quick. OR surf the net using a joystick? your better off doing that at home or on a laptop.
All this just to play games a crippled version of a game you can get on PS2. Grand Turismo for PSPS anyone. [what a rip off]
DS has more variaty, and you can now purchace the a web browser for it, (even though the stilus w/ touch screen makes it easy) I dont recomend it.
I know my point my be skewed though I own both, but I'm just upset that I spent money on something I dont use. all I have is luminus for it , and that will soon be a waste as Xbox360 has it now (for X-mas).

I say go with the psp its has more capabilities than the light and if you can find it at a good price definitely go with it. It has a small variety in games but you can put music on it and you can have the Internet on it.
