Get a 5 gallon bucket of water about 3/4 full and have peanut butter around the edges or some cheese hanging from the handle in the middle of the bucket. Allow a way for them to get to the top of the bucket of course and you will catch a ton of mice.

use the mouse glu boards , available at walmarts. Put a small amount of peanut bitter in the middle. Or get some rabbit food, put in a ziplock bag add plaster of paris. When he eats that and goes for water he can n o longer poop.

Peanut butter. But first tie a piece of string on the trigger and coat it with the peanut butter. They can actually lick the peanut butter off the trigger without setting off the trap. As they try to get it off the string it will set off the trap.

The sticky pads are cruel. They die slowly on them. The trap kills them instantly.

I've found that peanut butter works a lot better for catching those little critters. Don't use much, put it well into the bait stem where they have to nibble down into it and move the stem, then pop goes the weasle.

grease from a sauce pan ,(like bacon grease)
it s smell goes the furthest and the mouse has to lick it of the plate on the trap,
so he cant pull away the bait and run

and they love it
they will bite through plastic bottles to get to the cooking oil
