Why does my cable net disconnect every 5 mins?

It will be workin fine but after five mins it goes out.Anyone know what might be wrong?

You are not registered in correctly.
You will get 5 minutes of open line, and
then get cut off.
Redo your registration process.

Loose / corroded connection.
Defective modum.
Evil virus.

might be your cablemodem it isn't recieving enough signal to work fluently.

Ask to your Internet provider.
