Yes I feel this way a lot lately. I used to sew a lot and beable to take on a challenge but now I still want to do it but it seems harder. I don't understand. I am still the same person with the same ability or am I?

Yes, I feel like I have. I used to write poetry, and some of it was really good. A couple might even be great. Sometimes I would write two or three a day, good ones. Now it's all I can do to get out one or two a year, if that. When I do, they're still good, I guess, but soooo far between. Fading, fading, fading... I can still write good essays and business letters and such, but my gift for poetry is leaving me. I want it back.

I used to think that I was gifted in making men that I liked fall in love with me. As a teenage girl it seemed to be true but now that I'm 23 and that I've in a hard situation with a man that I've loved uncondictionally for 3 years, it seems that the gift I had faded and I can't make him love me in the way I want and desire to be loved. It really is depressing I wish my gift really existed or came back for even a split second because I don't want to lose him. Alas I fear I am.

Stupid is, what stupid does.
Are you able to handle, and are you willing to reap the "benefits", of not working, or getting education to help you toward retirement?
Do you still work, or lay at home with someone else footing the bill?
What giftedness are we talking about?
Just because you choose to do whatever in your life, as long as you are not violating someone elses rights, liberties, or values, you can do as you please, when you please.
If you can live like this, then I think there are more stupid ways you can live.

I feel like that sometimes too. Like right now, I'm on the internet not really doing anything, when there are about a million things I could be doing to better myself. I don't really think I've lost anything except for the drive I used to have. Now I'm a bit lazier, lol.

I don't know what gifts I've lost but I've ceased to take any pleasure in life. Been diagnosed as a manic depressive.
The meds help a bit however. Still trying to get back to living a full life.

It depends on which movie you choose to watch.
Judging from the mood I sense in your question I would suggest " My Dinner with Andre"
