Wife states that she was drunk and that kissing and touching occurred. She says that it was the liquor, however......she remained "friends" with out of town man. States that they agreed to be just friends after that night and that they never ever discussed what occurred. What do you make of that? She did change as a person and I forgave her. however the process took 6 months. Also, she did stop all communication with the man.

To try to get a better understanding of your situation, I had a read through your previous questions.

From what I can gather, you have been married for eleven years, and that your wife has been unfaithful to you on more than one occasion. From my understanding, on each of the occasions, she had been drinking alcohol.

I can only suggest to you, that if her drinking continues, so too may the unfaithfulness!

If you love your wife, as I believe you do, and you wish to save your marriage, then I strongly suggest that you seek counselling for both you and your wife.

You need to determine whether your wife has a ‘drinking problem’, and if so, you should work together toward helping her to overcome the problem. She can get help through Alcoholics Anonymous; You can get it through Al Anon.

You perhaps need to appreciate that for each of the affairs that you are aware of, there are probably others that you are not aware of. You need to leave them in the past, but at the same time, prevent them from occurring in the future.

Good luck!!!

Women are weird man. She is probably telling the truth if she did stop the contact though. Weird thing I've found with women. Even when they dislike a man or do not want him, if they have done anything with that man, they feel weak to be mean to them until they reach a breaking point and then they cut the dude off for good. I have found this to be the case. She is probably telling the truth.

"Drunk" sounds like an excuse if she still continued to talk with him. Why would she need to be friends with such temptation if she were married? It sounds like you are having a hard time getting over it. Maybe now it has just become a trust issue and makes you feel insecure because she betrayed you. Work at it if it is worth it to you, and you want to. Otherwise, move on?

I can't tell you what you should do. I can only tell you what I would do. I'd tell her to make she's gone before I get home. You'll never trust her again and you know that. What she did was disrespect you. If she can't love you whether you're home or away, she needs to go. If my husband was away for a year, even thinking about another man would make me sick. That's because he's my hero. I really love him. I wish you well and God Bless you for serving my country. You deserve someone who loves you. Someone you can trust with your life.

Why? Because she really liked him. Why else would a woman continue to have communication with a man? If she has ceased all correspondence with him, then it looks like she's willing to change her ways for the sake of your marriage.

If she cheated on you, and she still has communication with him, then she cares about him, so i would get rid of her or tell her to make a choice.
