I just think of the wars, the theft of lands, the subjugation of other races, the weapons of mass destruction, the inequalities in society?

Shema Yisrael!, Going by your name you would appear to have more to be ashamed of.

Nicole, I am glad you could recognise and state all the negatives you could find about my race. Also glad you are not a RACIST.

i dont think its a dumb question. some races dont process info the same way. For instance, being white its as if everything is always peachy keen. We notice more when other races create problems. Its as if white crime is no big deal, nothing to be really concerned about, but when something like sept 11 happens racism begins.

Quite to the contrary. I cringe with 'fear' when I see how some of the minority races behave. I see some races subjugating each other more so than the white man is doing to them. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton etc. have been preaching about the inequalities for years. But in fact if what they have been flapping their lips about were to all of a sudden come true in American and world culures, they would be out of a job. They want to keep their fellow black brothers and sisters down so as to have an excuse for their income stream and lavish life styles. Rainbow Push Coalition, give me a break. It should be called Jessies Extoration Gang.

Theft of lands? I can only imgine what you are referring to. But wars, and weapons of mass destruction, both very prudent and necessary tools to effectively resolve political debates in the modern era of mankind. The concepts are only unpopular in your mind because you feel a different country should have won, or prevailed.

As a white person, yes... but I'm not white, completely. Lumping people together is for the gonvernment papers, not for human beings.

However, I do find it rather embarressing that ANY race will do the stupid things they do. Yes, there may seem to be patterns that link certain races to certain behaviour typestes, but really, that is what it is- a typeset used to generalize us all.

The real question is, are you embarresed by the things HUMANITY does on the whole? We are guilty of wars, stealing land, and subjugating other races- or segrating our own races into classes, and then subjugating lower classes also- and there will always be inequalities in any society. There can be no perfect gonvenment, no awnswer to how to end inequality, because it is human nature- unfortunately- to pick out those who are'inferior' whether they are or not.

What is really going on here, is the same thing that goes on in every species of animal- surivial. Unfortunately we, we as humans broaden the spectrum from one stupid or inadequately prepared person to whole groups. Where other Species will just pick on and weed out the weak, the sick, and the old, we try to erradicate anyone who we don't like- unconscionciously, mind you. It is inherent in out existence.

Okay, you just opened up a portal that should have remained closed!
Yes, we are fallible. But what about the South Africa selling their own people? What about Iran and Iraq fighting since Jesus? What about our young black community killing each other? What about the minorities having children they cannot take care of to up their welfare checks?
What about gangs who only seek those of their race and decide others of a different race should be punished?
Do not point fingers so easily!
Every race has a lot of things to be ashamed of! Including yours!
We are people.
You should not look at all the bad things one race does. That makes you a prejudiced person. You should look at the horrible things in history and today and try to be sure you do not repeat these horrendous mistakes.
Only then can you step back on your pedestal and be the one to ask why anyone does an evil deed...

Your questions.....

As a white person do you cringe with embarrassment at the behavior of some of your race?

Why aren't there more home grown suicide bombers in the US like they have in the UK?

Girls, In your view do you think a man has a better chance of bedding you if he is well endowed?

What are the benefits of being a Christian, If any?

How do you find a good life partner?

***********I think you need to seriously get a life.. stop all these idiotic questions and go wage war with your "own" people...I would hope that less time on a computer and maybe more time cleaning up your "hood" would help you find a life partner who isnt concerned with how well endowed you are, that may even share your non-traditional christian beliefs..heck she may even become one of your most sought after suicide bombers!*********
get a life already!

As a white person specifically and a human in general, I cringe whenever I see wars, theft, subjugation, etc. I cringe when I see the president of Somalia encourage fellow Arabs subjugate a different tribe. I cringe when I see a burning cross. I cringe when I see a group of gangbangers harrassing people who live on their block (I live in a big city in the states).

It's honestly not about colour, religion or what have you. It's about any injustice that a human can inflict upon another human, plant or animal that makes me cringe.

Proud Irish/Cherokee.
As far as some of the things you listed, some has been done to others of the same race....

With all due respect, to you feel embarrassed by the actions of some African-Americans? Namely the ones that degrade women, deal drugs, gang-bang, and don't take care of their own kids?
Yes, White people do this crap too. So you can see how ridiculous the question is? Dumb people come in all shapes, sizes and races.

Let me say this first that I am a proud black woman. Secondly I am embarrassed by the question that you have asked. See it doesn't matter what race you are...we all "cringe with embarrassment" at the behavior of some of our race. Look back at our history, and not that far back. I have cringed at many Black, White, Mexican, Iranian, Muslims and then some! It doesn't matter the race, just that they are human. All races lie, steal, kill and cheat people every day that we live. Don't just single out one race...call them all out!

I cringe, but not with embarrassment. These people have little in common with me. I'm not going to try to shoulder the burden of being accountable for everyone who was or is white (i.e., Adolf Hitler) any more than I'm going to take credit for the accomplishments of others (i.e., Albert Einstein). The behavior of some people of all races has been abominable, while the behavior of others of all races has been admirable. I am proud of who I am & the family I belong to, and I admire anyone who strives to improve his/her own life & the lives of others.

As one person stated above me, it's about ignorance. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with skin colour. Yes, one would look at me, and based on appearance, claim that I am "white", but, in fact, my heritage consists of Scottish, Lithuanian and north American native (Mic Mac to be precise). There will come a time when the intermingling of "races" has gone on for so long, all those who are trapped in hatred won't know who to hate anymore. That's the thing about hate, it needs a label for attached to the object in order to hate the object.

How do I feel about this person here? Hmmmm, well, let's see...
he/she is... WHITE!!! I HATE HIM/HER!!!

I was taught to see everyone as equal, and I will continue to do so, because it's the only way to combat the ignorance that has been allowed to continue for so many centuries.
