No. Neither does marrying someone from a different social class, in the long run. Nothing bad about either person, not taking sides; just backgrounds too different. Eventually you realize you have nothing in common.

Yes i think that it truly can work. I mean if you want your relationship to work out and you love that person honestly and truly, then why would you let something like social status and class get in your way? If you did let it ruin the relationship, then that means you honestly didnt want to be with that person and are very shallow too.

Heck yeah! Especially if the person is in a better social class! Unfortunately for me and my husband, we were both poor.

Only Asians seem to think this issue dominate their lives. The rest of us surely should pick people for whom they are and not what their families tell them they are. Look how Asians kill their daughters if they want to marry outside of their so called castes. It's primeval really.

not usually. i am well off and wouldn't even look at someone living on welfare ie: projects, low class servants. you can tell by the way someone dresses,acts,talks,car they drive etc on there social class

Depends on how each of them were raised and if they can take the affect of society upon their relationship. They don't usually mix though.
