YES! It's antiseptic. Sea salt is better to use than regular table salt if you have it.

Another great substance for your mouth is - cinnamon! Dab it onto the wound, gargle with it in a bit of warm water (shake well, the oils usually make it float on top of the water) or make it into a tea. It's great for mouth health in general - I use it right on my toothbrush.

Bonus - fresh breath, tastes great!

Perm got into your mouth? ! What the heck were you? Just rinse your mouth with salt water. You probably burn your mouth with the chemical that was in the perm. Silly !

Yes, it's what you use after getting teeth extracted to kill the germs and help the wound heal. It's also good for sore throats. I imagine it would help with that too, if not you should see a doctor.

Salt melted in lukewarm water is a good antiseptic, nontoxic. Even blisters are easier healed by that.

Yes but not too much salt in that water...1 tspn per litre is more than enough. You can get some of that numbing gel for teething pain if it's really painful.

It can't hurt & probably will make it feel better. If you swallowed any, better check the bottle for ingredients & what to do.
