No, I LOVE Leonard Cohen.

I've suffered from major depression most my life; Cohen writes and sings about depression beautifully, but there's always an undercurrent of hope. I think his music helped keep me alive through some of my more difficult times. He's almost exactly 20 years older than me and I've used him as sort of a role model; he understands depression but keeps plugging along. And still being linked romantically with some of the most incredible women.

I've got all his music, read his books, and most of his poetry (haven't gotten to the latest poetry book that came out a few months ago).

Recently he found out his business manager (and one-time lover) embezzled his retirement fund. He showed a lot of class and restraint, only finally suing because he found he would have still be responsible for the taxes on the missing money.

Yes, Yes I do. I only own "Songs of Love and Hate" but I never get tired of listening to it. Ever read any of his works of poetry? You should check it out if you havent.
