Two things come to mind, you can apologize, or you can handle the problem yourself! Married men, men in any relationship really, apologize all the time, whether they feel they are wrong or not. Married men also take care of their own physical needs all the time!

Personally, I force my wife to have sex with me even if she is mad at me. First of all its hot, and second it buys you a while to figure out how to deal with her being mad. Of course my wife really loves sex so if your wife isn't ready to go like 3-4 times a week then things may be different. But it still worth a try.
